Modern organizations, regardless of their size and business profile, must make decisions based on reliable and up-to-date data. Management information, so far the domain of large corporations and international concerns, is increasingly reaching smaller entities ? small and medium-sized enterprises, family businesses, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), accounting offices, real estate agencies or law firms. Why is it so important? The answer to this question was prepared by Violetta Krystyna Malek, EMBA. In turn, Paweł Mlynski discusses the need to use management information in IT companies in Poland, emphasizing the fact that the development of organizations brings with it the growing complexity of decision-making and management processes. And as the scale of operations increases, the number of customers and projects increases, and new markets enter new markets, executives face challenges related to the effective use of more and more financial and business data. He emphasizes and justifies that if the company is prepared for the entry into force of the regulations - there is nothing to be afraid of, but there is not much time to prepare, because it is not something that can be done in a month or two. He also cites a telling and encouraging result of a survey conducted by the Remuneration Institute, where 93% of the surveyed companies are aware of the existence of the directive, and yet only 1.2% of them believe that it is adequately prepared.
